Really new to the game, and started the tutorial. I got this object "Repair the railway and set up automated rail deliveries". I've researched the automated rail deliveries and crafted the rails related stuff but can't figure out what to do.
What's the goal of this objective?

I suspect the actual trigger condition is "have an automatic train"

you'll have to set up a train that goes to the mining outpost, stocks up on ore, comes back, and unloads it, all automatically
it doesn't matter how you do it, just have an automated train that goes back and forth and gets some ore

can trains go back and forth? Or it gotta be a continuous path?
I tried fiddling around but didn't find much.

Either is possible, as long as there's a locomotive facing in the direction you want the train to go
