Good afternoon. I started factorio last weekend and I really like it, although I really struggle with logical solutions (reason why I picked it up, to improve on those) Now I'm at the train/oil part of science, but I feel like I'm not moving forward. Base is still pretty small with spagetthi all over it, but every ore vein is far away, it feels very stretched out. Is that normal till I get close to a main bus playstyle? I know people have hundres of hours in this game, I'm curious on when a main bus becomes a solid solution. Or is it even needed if I just play for myself.

you can do a main bus right from the start of the game, you can get through blue science and get construction bots in order to build a more organised base from now if you want
