I was trying to avoid researching Cliff Explosives because I want to keep being able to use the Shift click blueprint overwrite. I misclicked and accidentally researched cliff explosives. Is there a way to turn it off? Can I edit my save to un-research this tech?

Regardless, you should be able to un-research technologies via the map editor /editor. But this will disable your achievements.

Cliffs are invincible walls for biters, you dont want to destroy a cliff just to replace it with a factory built wall.

Biters, the only enemy that really cares about cliffs, are trivial to deal with using conventional defences.
