#i need to store ingredients in the cell
1 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
yeah probably a good idea
So you want to store the ingredients once when you initially set the recipe, in a memory cell?
so to do a 'one time logistics request', what i'm doing is having a memory cell with the ingredients setting the chest requests that decrements by whatever gets extracted so it doesn't request more shit
i then need to prime that memory cell with the ingredients
Oh I actually have a circuit really close to this from my space x run
one sec
Do you have the pushbutton mod installed?
i do not, what does it do?
Its like a constant combinator, that instead of staying on, pulses once when you toggle it with the "toggle entity" hotkey
oh, neat
useful for testing pulse logic

this is pretty close to what you want
wiat nvm this isn't it
sorry been a while
Ima just make it for you now lol wil be fast
alright, thanks
is there a 1-combinator circuit that just turns a solid signal into a pulse?
Closest thing is a clock with a 1 tic reset
wdym?
You have a clock circuit, that resets its count to 0 every time it hits 1. Then every time its 0, you let the result through, using one more combinator to check a condition
actually thats just a regular constant signal
sorry I'm overthinking this let me finish making the thing

Ok so, constant combinator represents a machine you are reading a recipe ingredient list from
First decider stores whether that signal has ever been passed through before, third combinator blocks the signal afterwards. Sending that combinator [black] resets the lock to let you send a recipe list through again.
Final combinator is a memory cell storing your recipe list a signle time.

However it looks like my black reset signal is still getting captured in the final memory cell
Probably not an issue, but just wanted to let you know in case
yeah, it's just going to a requester chest
