No, I haven't been using the ore melting recipe. I'm not taking foundries back to Nauvis anytime soon and I had no qualms dumping the few thousand leftover ore into lava. Sorry.

Oh that's actually a good idea lol. Maybe you can figure out where to pester the devs for the feature- or it may be possible to mod in if you're not working for achievements.
