I have found a way to filter for liquids or not though. You can create a constant combinator of all the liquids and then when you receive the signal that an item needs a request you filter it as a liquid or not

So then you have an interrupt for item trains and then another interrupt for liquid trains. Two different train stations (liquid depot and item depot)

I think im just going to have a interupt for eatch item so I dont need to wire everything up

So then all you would need to do is at your passive stations is hook up the storage and requester stations hook up the storage + combinator that is negative

and then do something like this at the depot to filter for requests we can fullfill
