the only difference i see here between uran and the rest is that uran needs fluid to mine and has that glow thingy
neither of which have any right to influence editor existencr or autoplace
could you send your mod over as a zip? maybe an extra pair of ingame eyes will help
please pack it in such a way that its a valid mod zip

im trying to just copy and edit the uran from base resource.lua, but apparantly i dont remember how you depend on other mods files
anything in data.raw can already be accessed/deepcopied
im aware, but im trying to track down where it breaks down
seriously why do i need to name it 'uranium-ore' to show the correct graphics? It might be that changing the name does something weird but how?
it generates whatever is shown. So somehow naming it anything OTHER than 'uranium-ore' makes uranium ore spawn, but if i change 'name' to 'uranium-ore' the correct resource spawns

if anything i wouldve expected it the other way around
what i think is happening here is that it overwrites the previous resource with that name
im suspecting it has something to do with the autoplace
so what exactly is the desired result in editor mode? no uranium at all or merely another texture?
