I’ve built a fairly large factory and activated all resource veins on the map. On average, there are around 2,000 active objects.
The game runs smoothly most of the time: CPU usage is around 60%, GPU about 30%, and memory usage around 40%.
However, approximately once per minute the game experiences a severe lag spike. During these moments, GPU usage suddenly drops to around 2%, while the game stutters heavily.
I should also mention that I’m using a packer system to reduce the number of active objects. This system is still under development and may have issues that contribute to the problem.
