I’ve spent hours setting up a centralized processing system where all minerals are crushed, sorted into four paths, and smelted. The issue is that once the 'physical ores' count exceeds 5,000, the game starts lagging severely.

it appears that the physics are simulated on only a single thread instead of being multi-threaded

I had this same problem and i turned off my auto miners and it fixed the problem. granted i had 10k ore laying everywhere on the ground

Dev says they will improve it in the future, but it's a big work.
