Illusion Copies persist and are seen as players

I was using the illusion wand eye ability with the clone ability to distract a doppleganger banshee monster on the last day of one of my runs, the clone i made duplicated itself and became persistent then was pulled into the judgment cutscene with me. then they where pulled into my hub world and followed me around. the shop keeper said "god speed, little ones" so I think the game thinks they where players.
