Can't advance next level

When playing the game using the big eater, I reached level 17, which was enough to pass the required score, but I still couldn't advance to the next level. I tried twice more with the same result.

The score on screen is not big enough to clear the requirement. For each e you need another 10 times the previous. The number you scored is basically 1.200.000 (1,2 * 10^7) but you need to score 11.000.000 (1,1 * 10^8)
