Ghostty broken on fresh install | Omacom | Page 1

Hi all,

Been testing out Omarchy this weekend and liking it a lot. I did come across an issue I wasn't sure how to report.

On a fresh install if I go through the Omarchy menu and attempt to install Ghostty it essentially breaks the window manager and basically everything since I am unable to open a text editor to fix things. Tried resetting to defaults but that doesn't work.

As a new user this is obviously a less than ideal experience, wondering if this is a known issue that is being addressed or if there's any quick way to fix

What do you mean when you say it breaks the window manager? Can you post a screenshot and any logs?

Once it breaks, when I attempt to open a new terminal it opens a blank window. And once it breaks I can't figure out how to look at any logs since the terminal breaks

I've already re-installed once so I probably won't break it again intentionally since I don't really know what I'm doing

Unless there's an easy way to get to the logs

How are you installing ghostty?
