it appears a lot of functionality is still fine - main issue is the ui/theming is broken. instead of solid background, it's transparent.

and then also waybar seems to have disappeared

ALTHOUGH
one thing got fixed by updating.

the reason i updated was because Pacman wasn't working. When i tried installing Zed, it would tell me missing directory or something along those lines. I thought maybe it was because I hadn't update my stuff. So I ran the update and it borked a lot of things but now Pacman installed Zed no problem

I guess i'll use my mac for now lol
