#Overwrote Windows

I am using a Framework Desktop with two nvme drives. One is running Windows 11 Pro, the other 8TB drive has been empty.

I followed the steps to install Omarchy, and found that my windows files were all on the nvme0n1 drive. I selected nvme1n1 to install Omarchy and that was successful.

When I clicked F12 during boot after installed Omarchy to switch back into Windows, it didn't show the drive at all.

I then went back into BIOS, disk wasn't there and went into Omarchy to access Ghostty to use terminal to verify the drives.

I do see nvme1n1 and nvme0n1, and 0n1 now shows vfat, crypto_LUKS and btrfs as options. This is where I outgrew my knowledge and ChatGPT's.

Any ideas what happened or how to restore Windows?

The manual partitioning guide pinned to the help channel may help, specifially the "Final Step" which adds windows to the limine boot options: #1469352282880737402 message

Agreed with sorifiend. Run limine-scan and see if it sees windows. If it does, type the number (eg 1) enter

@regal forge unfortunately for me, I only see Limine when running limine-scan as it outlines in the Final Step. Nothing else is in there
