I added a waybar setting to add a disk usage indicator. I noticed I had to do this under ./config/waybar vs having the main waybar settings in /usr/share and overriding them in my config folder say at /.local/share or in this case .config/waybar.
Will omarchy override these settings on update? How does omarchy go about reasoning about custom user settings vs default omarchy settings

i do my changes in the .config/waybar. when an update wants to change it, it creates a backup of my changed file and puts its own file in there as the main config. then i go and reintegrate my changes to it. i'm not sure if there is a better way but it worked out well for me. waybars config hasn't changed that much and it also says in the update log if it was changed or not.
