Installing Brave - Takes forever and downloads multiple repos? | Omacom | Page 1

Hello, I am new to linux and I am trying to install brave through AUR, I select brave and it starts downloading the repo then another repo then another and it was downloading like many GB of data and taking forever. I left it for a few hours yesterday and it would not stop downloading stuff.

How do I install brave, because this has to be incorrect right?

using yay -S brave means you need to compile from source and this is why it kept downloading
