#"DNS unavailable" warnings breaking my selfhosted setup

Hi! I've been getting warnings on my android (v15) phone in Tailscale (v1.88.1) saying "DNS unavailable" almost every other day for about three weeks (I think?). This breaks my self hosted setup that uses Tailscale's magicDNS; at least for my phone. As far as I know I don't do anything strange/different and I don't see any pattern in the warnings so far.
Not sure if it is related, but yesterday I also received a "Network map response timeout" warning.

I can "fix" it by restarting Tailscale on my phone, but that is always after the fact and temporary, which leads to issues with my selfhosted apps (mainly syncing not working).

I tried the "overriding DNS servers" setting after adding a global name server (tried Google), but that didn't help unfortunately.

Does anyone have an idea what's going on here and maybe also knows a sustainable fix for it?

I feel like this is sort of the same error I am getting on one of my nodes, can you do a bug report and submit a ticket?

cc @sand saffron my ticket is TSS-68258, fyi

in my case it seemed to have been solved updating the node (but it wasn't always a solution), let's see if it holds up
