I believe the unique for the quad cylinder that does "aiming down sights makes this weapon perfectly accurate" is honestly not worth using even remotely, while adsing it already has nearly perfect accuracy and compared to all the other primaries it just is so useless, like you literally nerf yourself using it since youre missing 5 slots yk?, also i think making the unique that shoots 5 bullets when firing 20 is cool but too niche/hard to build into, i genuinely feel like the unique would have a little more use or even just be more balanced if it was based on hits so that you can build further into it by using like the explosive bullets jokers and stuff like that, hell it would even make pick pick have worth on it, i think having any way to make just a bit better would be so nice since its cool but way too niche to be useful especially when compared to all the other weapons jokers, i loved the quad as soon as i started the game and after putting about 60 hours in the game its my favorite but it falls heavily behind the other primaries in the harder difficulties due to the "default gun should be bad" mindset, like its fine to have worse or bad guns but in a game like this having a gun be just worse by a significant margin than others just makes you feel bad using it, i have fun using quad and it has alot of potential I hope can be realized, and im not saying its terrible its just after about 15 hours of using quad ive realized how far it is behind the other primary/main weapons

May be unrelated toa bug but the unique that shoots the 5 bullets seems to have very limited range and doesnt seem to shoot 5 bullets if theres no 5 targets so possibly a change that makes it always shoot 5 even if theres just 1 target would be really beneficial
how about every weakspot hit increase accuracy and weakspot damage by 20% up to 100%?
and missed shot resets this
That would be cool but when its that inaccurate it would be impossible to use and using two uniques for an inconsistent buff just doesnt sound fun or rewarding
i also have ideas for homing bullet to just be your gun always hitting nearby targer while hip firing and ADS would just make it normal with increase accuracy
i also want the quad gun to just be accurate but yeah with my idea this wouldnt work unless they buff the accuracy when moving dramatically
I feel like the homing bullets would be perfect with more range/the ability to hit the same target more than once, along with making it hits based to make it more rewarding for more skill along with allowing you to build into things like the explosive bullets or potentially something like pick pick
Yeah it needs a buff and i feel like the max accuracy while aiming just isnt even remotely useful due to its innate accuracy while aiming
actually wait, if your bullet activates a joker effect, it will home in of the nearest target, closest to your crosshair

It could even be like ||khovostov|| where the bullet can ricochet multiple times based on something, could be based on ammo left in mag could be based on what % magazine is missing, they could even add damage based on % ammo left or missing bullets since as you go further back on the cylinders the barrel will get "longer" so youd get more muzzle velocity ~= more damage
I have alot of ideas for the quad since i am very partial towards it due to it being such a funny weapon

I believe that it isn't necessarily a bad weapon overall and isn't a unfun weapon, I genuinely love the aesthetic of the quad but after using all the other weapons it feels bad comparatively to me, specifically when it comes to end game with the uniques and having played with all the weapons and their uniques, I love the weapon but genuinely in my opinion (it's okay if other people feel differently this is just my opinion) that it just isn't enough compared to the other weapons, the Gatling gun has a cool elemental spray and pray unique that also can pair well with the fire rate one, the lever edge has chain killing potential that works really well with ricochet with stacking damage to boot, the sniper has crazy spell cool downs and satisfying (although kinda small) explosions on headshots, the shotgun has a cool slug mode that feels like you're mixing loads (although I feel like it could have more aspects like every other shot or even an entirely new joker that allows you to reload any weapon kinda like the lever edge does but that might make the lever edge get deprecated so that's okay) and even has the ability to get more pellets as you shoot to do more damage and to make on hit effects stack faster and better, where the quad just gets barely noticable better accuracy when aiming and a cool but way too niche in my opinion auto shooting bullets that have very limited range that usually only spawns two or three and end up not really doing much overall, along with taking almost an entire mag just to get 5 body shots worth, it just overall as a weapon is underwhelming and underperforming in my opinion

The Quad also has the worst ammo econ in the game iirc
For how little damage it does per round its relative small reserve capacity means it really struggles on higher difficulties and almost demands the ammo box utility
Also the 100% accuracy means nothing because the crosshair sucks and the flash from firing blinds the user
And it doesn't help that it's already like 99% accurate when adsed anyway
I think they just were afraid of making it better than the other weapons to the point people wouldn't use other weapons, it definitely suffers from "default gun syndrome"
Imo the spread while moving shouldn't apply to ads, this would make it actually accurate and reliable for far off enemy like the triple musketeers or the deadeye
As for the ammo and damage, they are kinda tie together, either more damage or more ammo, imo up the damage to 10 and that's it, or at least make it 9 this way it's easier to reach the 20 damage threshold or at least get to 10 to 2 shot, saving 1 bullet per grunt which does add up alot
You can also just have more ammo but lower clip
