#Finger Guns spell rework thingy i made :D

I believe this spell to have an insanely cool idea but lacking in it's execution, to my understanding, it's meant to be a damage focused spell but it ends up being a weaker gun on a cooldown..

  • my main problem with it: you have put away your weapons to use what's in most cases, a weaker one. i don't think it's powerful enough to justify swapping your main weapons to it, especially considering it's cooldown, it has okayish AOE and leaves elemental puddles but that's about it :/.

  • proposal 1:
    This proposal is meant to keep the idea of the spell mostly intact, just some QOL and Buffs to make it more worthwhile compared to the other spells in it's category ^^.

The "guns" themselves fire grenade like projectiles, these "bullets" are kinda weak, have a small AOE to them and leave behind elemental puddles. so i thought making the initial explosion spawn 3 or so smaller grenades that also leave elemental puddles would make it better at horde clearing, you could focus fire on a Lich for example and kill the cryptids around it, or shoot at the ghostly birds above, making it rain small meteors onto their friends >:D.
Now, damage, cooldown, Time while using it, all this could be figured out when testing it.

  • proposal 2:
    This is meant to be a more moderate change, i plan to keep the idea of the spell more or less still there but i am going to change a lot more than the first one.

So, let's being! Instead of it firing fireball like projectiles, change it to high damaging piercing sniper-esque shots that explode on impact and can benefit from weakspots. (by "explode on impact" i mean the bullet pierces AND explode upon entering in contact with every enemy pierced once. Also, the explosion itself can leave puddles). This change would make the spell more like a magical twin railgun, which is cool af but i feel like it detracts from the "grenade launcher" thingy going for it, still, i really like this idea and believe it has potential to be expanded upon.
Damage, cooldown, etc etc can be figured out when testing, same as above.

  • proposal 3:
    This one is going to change A LOT, but, like the 2th proposal, i'll try to maintain the theme of it.

okay, so. Instead of swapping to it, have it manifest spectral fiery hands that shoot alongside your weapons, acting like mini missiles. This one is rather simple but it changes how this spell even functions to begin with, still, i REALLY like this one too ^^.

i was just running finger guns and i realize they don't benefit from any jokers in your kit (past on death effects)

what if finger guns share attributes/jokers with the gun you put away casting the spell? say you put all your points in fire rate, than the spells fire rate would be higher.

Actually i don't think finger guns benefit from on death jokers either minotoThinking i think the spell nulls everything out
