After spending around 5 hours with Far Far West, I wanted to share some feedback and suggestions. First of all, I want to say that I am genuinely enjoying the game so far. The core gameplay loop feels fun and has strong potential, which is exactly why I wanted to take the time to write this post. These suggestions come from a place of appreciation for what the game is already doing well, and from wanting to see it become even better.
1. Turkish Language Support
One of my first suggestions would be adding Turkish language support.
I have several Turkish friends who are also playing the game, and while they enjoy the gameplay itself, some of them struggle to fully understand upgrade descriptions, spell explanations, and joker effects because of the language barrier. Since understanding these systems is such a core part of progression and decision-making, this can negatively affect the experience for players who are not comfortable with English.
I believe Turkish localization could help make the game much more accessible to a wider audience. If needed, I would even be willing to help with translation support.
2. More Support for Mage-Oriented Playstyles
I think the game could benefit from expanding its support for players who want to fully commit to a “mage” style of gameplay.
At the moment, there is room for more build variety through:
Additional spell cooldown reduction upgrades in the character upgrade pool
More spell-focused jokers
More effects that specifically reward heavy spell usage
Adding more options like these would create greater build freedom and allow players to specialize more deeply instead of being pushed toward more generalized setups.
3. Spell Overclock System
A feature that could significantly deepen build customization would be a spell modification system similar to the Overclock system in Deep Rock Galactic.
The idea would be to introduce optional modifiers that slightly alter how spells function, offering trade-offs rather than direct upgrades.
For example:
A Fireball overclock could change the spell from firing one powerful fireball into three smaller fireballs that deal less individual damage but provide wider coverage.
Small modifications like this would create meaningful build experimentation and allow players to tailor spells to their preferred playstyle without requiring entirely new abilities.
