#20% game speed joker should only be activated if host permits it

Its not a joker- its a well modifier. The only control you have over it is not using wells.
You can play low leveled guns and subpar magic and finish the round on very hard, but if someone activates it - it's over if everyone isn't on top of their game equipment vise
Maaan, still quite a conundrum, more dangerous than getting nuked lol
it absolutely is- but why is someone using wells on hard mode anyways, thats just a bad idea!
The odds of getting that modifier is so low that ruining 1 out of 1000 runs is really not even worth worrying about
It was my very first well in the very first game x)
From activating wells, I have gotten:
2 weapon fragments
3 nukes
2 storms
2 golds
1 free souls
1 darkness modifier
2 20% speedup modifiers
It's definitely pretty common and I avoid wells on difficulties higher than Hard specifically because darkness and 20% are so detrimental
the real problem here are the people using wells in pub lobbies without asking
Partially their inexperience
Partially just how pubs roll
That's not a problem - like at all. That's the multiplayer chaos experience and I wouldn't want it any different.
My problem with the well is that you eventually just stop using it once you've seen enough. They are fun for the first few times, then you just grow to ignore it because you don't really want to risk the modifier ruining your chilling time. All the good ones are only beneficial to the newcomers (souls, fragment, gold), so there's no reason whatsoever to take the gamble while running higher difficulty.
I agree with that, I think the wells require more carrots to the sticks, but i like them a lot. I want to feel the itch in my greedy fingers for the good stuff from a well, while simultaneously fear the really bad stuff. Stuff like a second life, multiple jokers, large amounts of souls or perhaps even a joker you keep for after the run. But at the same time I wanna feel the "ohhhhh should I really?".
