To keep things simple I'll be using this thread to compile all of my feedback and will update this thread as time goes on.
- Damage Numbers: After my first bit of playing the game and using a gun for the first time to attack the enemies in the tutorial the gameplay felt smooth, but something was off. The damage numbers. What makes them feel off is their design, the font of the damage numbers feels out of place (and very flat in a way?). To me, they serve more as a distraction so I turned them off for the first few minutes of playtime but quickly turned them back on because it felt weird without them. I would definitely love to see a redesign to the font used for the damage numbers that conveys a 'Wild West' feel while also not being too overbearing in it's design where it becomes too hard to read. Another thing, I would love to see any form of DoT (Damage over Time) be a compiled number that gradually grows numerically instead of spamming a wave of the same number which can flood your visuals.
-Enemy Clarity: As someone who is slightly visually impaired, I find that the enemies often turn into a mass of grey slush or are blurs on my screen because they blend in to the environment a little too well. I would love to see either a red outline system (the easy solution) or slight redesigns to the enemies colour pallets to make them more vibrant or provide more of a pop to contrast their environment so they are easier to see.
