#Player skins to have unique traits.

I know this can be a hot button idea to mix cosmetics with gameplay but since the skins are earnable in-game currently (not that I mind the idea of supporting the dev team further sometime). I think a cool addition to the player skins, that mostly seem to be based on characters you talk to at the saloon, would be to give them unique traits. Something that adds to roleplay and builds.

Examples being Bull can do damage/pushback when you dash into skeleys because he uses his horns. Maybe the undertaker's skin gives buffs to enemies you possess or summons like badito, making him feel like a necromancer (techromancer?).

I'd be down for this but only if you could equip any unlocked skin's bonus with any other unlocked skin's appearance. Otherwise you'd be "forced" into looking a certain way to optimize your playstyle

Let skins stay as skins. This would lead players using mostly just that one skin. This would be much better idea with perks. Skins can swap, but perk stays active. Perks cound increase something and decrease something, so it's not just "become better for no reasons" Summoner perk like : 25% faster summons. 25% reduced HP.

Maybe one way to add more flavor to skins while getting around gameplay changes is to give them more pazazz. Like maybe bull makes robotic bull sounds/chuffs when dashing or maybe hooty gets a spirit bird that follows the arrows she shoots if you have her skin on while shooting a bow. Nothing that changes game values like perks but makes the skins feel more like you're embodying what the character is.
