I personally don't think every mission should end with a bossfight. Even if there was a lot of different bossfights, it will get boring after a while. I think an idea is to do something like deep rock galactic where, not only is there different objectives, but also a possibility for different modifiers. I'm not sure how to do this in a way that doesnt seem like copying or something though. There has to be something else that can be done tho

im pretty sure they are planning to add mission modifiers
I believe every mission could have a bossfight, but only sometimes that would be the main objective.
At times the bossfight is not the mains objective, you can complete a side objective as a ritual to summon the boss
As for what the other objectives for a map could be, no idea so far
