I love the idea of Portal as a utility spell but the fact that it (and now Boing) don't interact with other elements doesn't rub me the right way, I think almost- if not all elements jokers- should interact with one another, even if it's a small interaction. Here are my ideas for Portal that could give it just abit extra spice and utility in the Far West!

  • If you ever played the game TF2, you know that when you exit from an engineers teleporter that you leave a faint trail behind you for afew seconds, why not do the same thing with Portal? Whenever you exit a patrol, for 1-2 seconds while grounded, said player leaves an electric puddle that enemies can accidentally walk into! This also allows it to be used on point offensively as you can teleport back and forth, setting up trails for your teammates to use acid on!
  • One of my more ambitious ideas (that my friend ultimately keeps telling me is bad but I love it too much not to include it), have the Portal exit be able to be placed on the minimap when you press the interact key, for a scaled up cooldown depending on how far away it is for you (ex: 200m away, 200 seconds, not exact numbers). The reason I love this idea is that it offers new ways to play and move though the Far West, from teleporting your whole team to an objective at the very start of the match to making a panic Portal to get everyone out of a fubar situation to trying to wrangle a teammate who has wandered off to no man's land while tapping your foot at the boss spawner.
  • And one more idea, have two closely placed portals make a faint electrical fence connection between one another, Shocking enemies that walk though the fence for like 1 seconds, just some bonus damage that can trigger explosions/effects when it occurs

Of course not every single idea has to be implemented on the same ability, just offering some that may or may not stick. Love the game in the first and now my second playtest trying it out, I can't wait to see how it evolves

As for Boing, I simply do not like the new interation of the new joker. Sure, you some more omph than the last joker yet there's no interaction with other elements, here's my idea to potentially make it still being but in a more fun way!

  • Trampolines... yup- something silly but bear with me. How about instead of a simple movement ability that it instead places a bounce pad of some sort on the ground, allowing you and your teammates to use it to traverse vertically upwards and conserve/gain horizontal momentum while bouncing? And first the interactivity part, every time someone uses the trampoline/bounce pad, it sends out a Shockwave of electric around it in a generous Area, say like 7 meters, letting players kite enemies into it to just jump up and away while applying the DOT onto them! Team play, fun and electrical movement mayhem all in once package. Ethier limit the amount of bounce pads allowed on the field by a player or give it limit uses if balence is a needed factor.

Possible Bug 🐛: When dual revolvers are thrown too far, they tend to disappear before detonating on the ground, at least as a client. Host revolvers seem to work fine.

Also, in the future with the Prisiadki emote, would it be possible for the emote to allow us to move slightly while using it? For uh.. no particular reason:

Another possible bug 🐛: When playing piano at the saloon, the music seems to stop after you finish up playing it infinitely until you start a game and that no other player can hear your beautiful rendition of Ode to Joy, Punch edition

Confirmed Bug 🐛 : When someone leaves during a mission, a multitude of things can occur:

  • The Host loses any perks the have picked up during the mission
  • When someone leaves while they are dead, they leave a ghost named "name" and when revived, this entity is left behind in the first picture
  • When mission is completed with this entity existing, is counted as a player and thus will be left behind, resulting in massive XP loss at the end of the mission

Also a Suggestion: When you interact with a downed player, have that players movement be locked in place so that the person reviving isnt having to play a aim trainer trying to keep track of a down player moving around.

Alot of bugs have been fixed Listed here, excellent work yall at Evil Raptor, I feel pretty spoiled atm having such responsive fixes coming from other games.

Another point of feedback: The eletric element set of spells feel like they take way too long to level up, Ive been using eletric strikes in my loadout for decent amount of time and am only at level 18 thus far with the Spell list meanwhile the rest of the Spell set sets are at 35+. If Electricity can get a slight bump up in XP gain for the future/next playtest, alongside alot of people suggestions to bolster the unappealing spells (boing and portal), that would be sick.
