Also, if you take a ride by climbing on top of someone's ornitthopter, make sure you have a suspension belt equipped for if/when lag makes you fall off. Being between all the wings seems to be the most stable spot, but helped me get to a few funky places this morning/last night

Certain quests give you the option to use previous tiers as skins(under the u button) which is what I've done lol
There's also the rarer option for dedicated costume sets
