Saw the first two seasons of Uma Musume Pretty Derby. The second season is much better with Tokai Teio, McQueen, and a bit of Rice Shower.
I also saw Cinderella Gray. It's interesting starting at regionals. Oguri Cap is cute and Tamamo Cross is cool. ||Too bad Kitahara was left behind and that they couldn't do the Tokai or Japanese Derby|| I look forward to season 2 in October.

and then they actually do handle it with zero help from mc

Turns out learning without the restraints of current knowledge lets you break „rules“

The MCs first friend is one of the strongest adventures in that region and he goes „let‘s leave him out of it unless REALLY necessary“

Very close to the ideal for me, MC has no powers aside from base building and physically can't leave the base

I have found a few that have real neat/intriguing world building but screw the pooch either with weird kinks(I include most harem as this) or story decisions or destruction of everything to tell a new story with same characters in a way that feels off

and a lot of the authors I find online HATE writing slow stories.
