Not wanna give hopes up on DoW4. But it do look good. Probably they gonna expand with more factions via DLC's after release. But already solid from get go: SM - Orks - Nekrons and Mechanikus. Each have unique gimmics and also own campaing to play.

the amount of times especially for warhammer games where people were just shocked on release day bout X thing in a game when i straight up already knew bout it cause i kept up to date on everything they showed

people can choose to avoid spoilers thats completely understandable but ive just seen way too many times people just exploding etc over stuff devs for alot of games in general not just warhammer ones that they had been publicly showing and being open bout for a month or more before a release date

That's definitely been me this summer. Though mostly I'm trying to get everything primed and ready so I can paint all winter. IIRC spray primer doesn't work too hot in the cold.

We've been doing tests and warming up the can does help make for a smoother spray.

Normally Grey Seer looks a bit textured, but ours come out really nice in comparison to most.

I’ve only ever been downed by them once, and it was because I was focused on the chaos spawn harassing me.

Their damage is brutal, but when you know they’re there play corners and force them into melee.

Works wonders for me, but I have noticed that I’ve had to clutch every single run since these guys dropped.

I know they were crazy strong compared to the other gunners, but I do genuinely think that's just because they're not affected by the curio blessing.

Cutting their damage down by 60% would make them such a lower priority.

The damage alone wasnt the problem, it was that combined with them spawning packs of 10 of them (and a traitor captain too because WHY NOT), ignoring cover, ignoring other enemies, ignoring headshots because its carapace, and they each shot EVERY SECOND

Oh, and also they splashed through psyker bubbles/walls and couldn't be blocked with either ogryn/arby shields (fair, bulwarks cant block our plasma) but also Deflector blessing from psyker (why, its warp bull)

By every account it was not a balanced enemy or event in the slightest

to be clear: its a perfectly fine army expansion for those already in the hobby. the thing is Tyranids are the big bads this edition, and xmas boxes are a large way people get into the game. an Xmas box for the faction that is the current big bads should probably not be the "oh hell what do we put in a box?!" mix.

its a good mix of firepower and support monsters, all with roles that you would want to some excent.

but all 5 mishmashed together would be a horrific starting point for a new player.

but if you're expanding your already existant tyranid army, its a wonderful box.

Watched more of the video and besides the Xeelee and a few other minor concessions I think he places too much weight on the other universes lore, not accounting for differences in how 40K works.

Yes I get that the whole point is that “40K isn’t an auto win” but…. A lot of the arguments are just…. Wrong?

Simone is basically a chaos god, but that doesn’t mean he’s “won”, it just means he’s another near unstoppable force among the 5-6 other unstoppable psionic entities that already exist. Unless he ya know, spirals himself further which he could, but I feel like he’d just be another denizen of the warp.
