SPOILERS: || After Titus returns to the Ultramarines you eventually encounter another carnifex, and that fight does have constantly spawning small nids. The strategy for fighting him is NEVER BE IN MELEE if you're playing on the hardest difficulty. Try to prevent him from charging pillars, since you need them for cover. The smaller nids are there to help you replenish armor, as well as extra pressure. I died my first attempt on the hardest difficulty, but I got it the second time when I realized you just need to kite the boss with ranged. ||

||wait.... oh THAT carnifex. yeah he's just annoying. if you can find the multi melta spawn (no idea if its there on harder difficulties) it does great.||

It is, but it does not work well against on the hardest difficulty. You need the bonus headshot damage to kite well, and it can't do that reliably. Otherwise it does decent flat damage amounts, but not as much as you'd like.

Funny thing that it wasn't till I started meleeing him that I won since I kept running out of bullets by the end, I dont think I ever got extra shield from those nids though I was to focused on being killed by them

oh psi titans are so much wore than you think. imagine a Custodes, but fighting at titan scale. they've got "battery packs" of thousands of psyker brains instead of engines and travel entirely through telekinetic motion of the limbs, all linked to the pilot, who's running all the chronomantic nonsense. it's a psionic Jaeger from Pacific Rim, but with obscene mobility.

table top? they are an interesting army and do fairly well every edition. the issue you will face though is that you're rules are.... funky. everyone else is playing chess, you will be playing checkers. You are arguably playing entirely seperate games.
price wise..... well..... if you can get the recent box "Imperial Knights Battleforce: Valourstrike Lance" then you've got a decent bit of an army there for the price of one knight, and then just get a few more from there sure.
WITHOUT that box? probably not.
