in base AK theres a grindable series of nodes you can do for these specific tickets
they can be used on a bunch of things but one of them are the tokens to max out OPs.
now those tokens cost a LOT, but they are there. the highest tier ones are of course random which shows up each.... I forget how long the shop cycle is.
but long story short if you truly dedicate your grind you can buy out that shop with relative regularity
and that would allow you to have maxed out versions of each of your characters. which in base AK didn't do a ton. mostly just made characters cheaper and slightly better.
but the lack of any such system in Endfield makes me. extremely warry to go anywhere near it. combine that with all of the hostile monitization and I.... ehhh.... not for me.
its not really about doing it all the time. its about the option being there.
to not be a slave to limited time banners.
the game seems fine gameplay wise. its got some neat ideas and probably an interesting story but.... it just feels very hostile compared to the gachas I like to enjoy. which is an extremely limited number of them.
I thought because "hey its Arknights, they wouldnt go back on one of the few good decisions they made right?" buuut here I am.
