Hello,
I’ve been using Kiro for about a year now. Even with all the attention around Claude Code and Codex, I still believe Kiro is an extremely powerful tool, and we’ve been very satisfied with the results.
However, there’s one limitation I still haven’t solved.
Is there a way to enable a fully automatic/autonomous autopilot mode? I mean allowing Kiro to auto-approve all tasks and execute everything inside the tasks.md file without asking for authorization.
My goal is to expand its use for autonomous development and automated testing, taking advantage of my PC idle time and letting Kiro work while I’m away or sleeping.
I’ve tried different approaches, but eventually the chat always asks for approval before executing certain actions.
For example, I start with an empty folder, create the specs for a new app, Kiro generates the tasks.md file, and then I want it to execute all tasks from start to finish, including dependency installation and final implementation, without asking for approval at any stage.
Is this currently possible with Kiro? If yes, what would be the recommended approach?
