#Request for Help - Account Restricted & Unable to Cancel Subscription

Hi Kiro team,
I'm reaching out because I'm facing a serious issue with my Kiro.dev account, and my AWS support cases were closed without a clear resolution. I would really appreciate your help or any guidance.

1. Account creation & subscription

  • On 12 Nov, I registered my Kiro.dev account using GitHub Login.
  • I entered my credit card info and also subscribed to the Pro+ plan, which was 0 USD due to the promotional sale at that time.
  • I did not cancel the subscription back then because everything was still working normally, I was using Kiro IDE normaly on 13, 14 Nov on my project.

2. Unexpected account restriction

  • On 15 Nov, Kiro sent me an email about suspicious activity, but unfortunately the email went to my Spam folder, so I didn't see it.
  • The email said my account was restricted until I verified my details via AWS Support:
Dear Kiro Customer,

We have detected suspicious activity on your Kiro account that requires immediate attention. We have restricted your ability to use Kiro until we can validate your account details. This action was taken to help ensure the safety and security of your account and we regret any inconvenience it may have caused.

Please contact AWS Support using this form, and we will work with you to verify your account details.

3. Unable to manage my plan or cancel subscription
Today, my phone reminded me to cancel my subscription before the next billing cycle.
When I opened Kiro IDE -> My Profile -> Manage Plan, the page returned this error:

Unable to fetch account usage data: There was an error processing your request. Please contact Support (https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/kiro) for assistance.

Because of this error, I cannot access my billing page or cancel the subscription myself.

4. AWS Support cases suddenly closed
I have submitted multiple support tickets through the official link: https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/kiro

For some cases, I received no response.
For others, the final replies were like the following:

Dear Kiro Customer,

We have reviewed your case and determined that we cannot restore your Kiro account access.

We appreciate your interest in Kiro, but we will not be able to provide further assistance with this matter. This will be our final communication regarding your account.

Sincerely,
Amazon Web Services

and

Dear Kiro Customer,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can't take further action on this matter or offer additional insight.

This will be our final correspondence, and we'll consider this case closed. We regret that we've not addressed your concerns to your satisfaction.

5. My request
I'm not trying to restore access.
I only want to cancel my subscription and make sure I won't be charged next month, since the billing page is locked due to the account restriction.

If possible, could someone help me with:

  • Cancelling the current subscription
    or
  • Allowing temporary access to the billing page

I'm happy to provide any additional information needed for verification.
