#✅ - Thoughts on using Claude 3.7 or 4.0?

Hi @peak inlet
KIRO IDE uses both Claude Sonnet 3.7 and Claude Sonnet 4 as its default model backends. You can switch seamlessly between these models within Kiro.
While other platforms might charge for accessing these advanced models, Kiro offers free use with reasonable limits during its public preview.
Claude Sonnet 4 builds upon Sonnet 3.7 with enhancements in areas such as reasoning, coding, and handling complex tasks. While Sonnet 3.7 provided a solid foundation, Sonnet 4 offers improvements in contextual memory, deeper reasoning, and a more natural conversational flow, making it particularly well-suited for demanding AI workflows and longer interactions. Both models share the same pricing structure, making Sonnet 4 a potentially more valuable option for users seeking advanced capabilities without extra cost.
I hope the answers your question.
