  • Bushes have durability based on their size (+-25%)
  • Bushes give Foraging XP when cut down (slightly less than trees, relative to durability/stamina cost)

I am thrilled to announce the release of Fish of Stardew 4.0.0, and it's packed with exciting new updates. This update brings a brand-new location, five new fish, three new recipes, four new forage items, and a beach house!

🐟 Key Updates:

New Location - East Beach: Explore the brand-new East Beach, a new location brimming with opportunities and discoveries.

New Fish: We've added five new fish to the waters of Stardew Valley: the Banded Eel, Icey Octopus, Parrotfish, Sand Ray, and Triggerfish.

Dock-Exclusive Fish: When fishing from the East Beach dock, you can now catch these special fish: Moray Eel, Seaweed Halibut, Spotted Ray, Banded Eel, and Icey Octopus.

My Tiny Rooms Pack for PIF has been updated to version 2.0! SDVpufferparty

What this update brings:

  • 7 new rooms. You'll have extra rooms for days!
  • Updated the older 5 rooms to allow bed/mini-fridge placement.
  • Rooms are now organized using the Group feature in PIF's latest update; the older 5 rooms are grouped as 'Tiny Rooms 1.0' while the new ones grouped as 'Tiny Rooms 2.0'. No more cluttered menu!
  • Revamped room previews.

Before installing this update, PIF must be updated to the latest version. Using the new tarot UI is highly recommended. Have fun! SDVpufferheart

Hi everyone, I'd like to announce that Custom Kissing Mod got a big update:

Custom Kissing Mod 1.3.0

  • New cursor indication when its possible to kiss a NPC.
  • You can now kiss at the beach and the Saloon. It will alternating between the repeating dialog and the kiss.
  • NPCs now have a different properties for the beach kissing sprite.
  • Integration with Generic Mod Config Menu, including showing the Frame you are choosing for the kiss with each NPC.

Since there was no announcement for 0.5.0, here are the most important changes since 0.4.2:

Colored Honey Labels v2.0
The mod to automatically add color to your honey bottle sprites has been updated!
Added 4 new built-in sprite options, some that color the bottle lid, too.
Added a GMCM config option so the user can choose which built-in or other-mod-added honey sprite they want to use.

Hello everyone! We're here to announce a new update on the Treasury Farm mod!

Since there have been some issues with the warping and questions about the new sections of the farm, I’ve addressed these on the update.

•A new farm expansion has been added! To which you can access through the top left warp of the main section. It’s about the same size as the main section, so there’s a lot more space to build stuff!

Note: In a future update, we’ll add the bottom left expansion, which is the same size as the other 2. For now, we’re still working on the design following the same line of the new expansion, so be patient.

Colored Honey Labels v2.1

Self-Checkout 1.0.1 is now live. This mod that lets you purchase from shops unattended, and it has dynamic compatibility with modded shops so it should work with everything. I've tested it with mods like SVE, RSV, and Livestock Bazaar.
You can also set in config options a required heart level so that you can only self checkout from shops where you have a high enough friendship with the shop owner.

The 5 new fish (Salt Grouper, Mossy Tetra, Reef Shark, Willow Cutthroat, Longfin Eel) and the legendary Sail Fin (an extremely difficult catch!) are here! Catch location-specific fish (e.g., Bluegills only off the dock of the forest pond) and battle the new Reef Shark at Ginger Island.

Hey, fellow mod devs! As some of you will know, I've been working on a mod called Better Game Menu for a little while now. This mod completely replaces the built-in GameMenu implementation with one that's a bit more efficient (namely, it doesn't load every page every time you open the menu) and that has a nice API for other mods to hook into it.

If you develop a mod that interacts with GameMenu, either to add a new page or to do things to existing pages, we'll need to work on compatibility so please check things out and write a patch, or ask me to write a patch to PR to you. And, of course, please let me know if there's anything missing from my API that you'd like.

Mail Framework Mod 1.19.0 released.
New features:

  • New property to keep a mail valid once all conditions have been met for a day but the mail was not read on that day.
  • New feature to handle Randoly Chosen Attachment
  • New property to set how much items from the attachment list should be chosen to delivery.
  • New property to set a "RandomGroup" to an Attachment, so its pick from that group instead of from the whole list.
  • New property to set a "Weight" for a given attachment, when being picked randomly.
  • New property to set how many items should be pick from a given group, instead of using the default value.
  • New property to say if an item from a given group can chosen more than once.
  • New set of property to set a MailReceived requirement for attachments and replies
  • New property to set a MailReceived to be removed when a letter is read or when a reply option is chicked.

Mail Framework Mod 1.20.0 released.

  • Adds a new custom asset to the game. (DIGUS.MailFrameworkMod/MailData) That means MFM letters can now be loaded with Content Patcher and take use of all its features like tokens. It supports the same properties.
  • Content Pack letters are also loaded into the new custom asset and therefore can be edited with Content Patcher.
  • Text and Title properties now supports Tokenizable string even on Content Packs.
  • Texture assets can now be a game asset, not just an asset in the mod folder even on Content Packs.
  • New GameStateQuery property as condition a condition to deliver a letter.

This means you can integrate your letters directly with Generic Mod Config Menu.
When using CP, you should use {{i18n:}} instead of writing the keys as the value of the properties, since MFM can only find the keys in content packs, not on CP folder.

Better Game Menu has arrived! This is a replacement for the game's built-in pause menu that's focused on better performance and extensibility. Users with larger mod packs especially should notice immediate improvements in the time it takes to open the menu.

This is a pretty big change, so compatibility will be a concern. There are currently 23 mods in my compatibility tracker, 12 of which are fully working. Of the rest, I've submitted updates to most of them to get support added. Let me know if you run across a mod that's not working and not in the tracker, and I'll check into it.

Small annoucement: finished Conversation Topic Utilities 1.0.0! It's a framework for default and repeatable dialogue responses to conversation topics. For example, you can create a default dialogue line that any NPC can use in response to a specific conversation topic, but only if it's raining outside, or only if their name is included in the conversation topic key itself. You can match many conversation topics by prefix to avoid repeated code. It's a small mod, but I figured someone else may have some use for it so I wanted to share SDVpufferheart

aSDVemoteheart Store Entrance Doorbells
Adds an immersive, soft, friendly store entrance doorbell sound effect during the open hours for Pierre's General Store and, if installed, Heaps Convenience Store from Ridgeside Village. A good bit of nerdy effort was made to ensure these sounds remain unobtrusive and not super irritating.

aSDVemoteheart Better Night Time Sounds
Replaces the night time ambient audio for spring, summer, and fall (spring_night_ambient) with less harsh, less repetitive, and non-distracting sounds. This was actually the result of discovering that the vanilla audio was causing me IRL fatigue when listening to it for an extended period of time. The audio is sourced from an actual cornfield during the night, and mixed to suppress ugly noise you normally get from a field recording.

aSDVemoteheart More Subtle Cave Sounds
Replaces the ambient audio for every mine shaft biome with less harsh, more subtle, and non-distracting vanilla-friendly sounds. The "frozen" floors have have a subtle treble "drone" effect with eerie convolver reverb. The "lava" floors have a subtle bass "drone" effect and low passed "lava" bubbles similar to vanilla. In the upcoming version, I've cleaned handful of vanilla sound effects.

This is a framework for mod authors to use to create their own curated item display similar to the vanilla museum. Unlike the vanilla museum, however, Custom Museum Framework offers a lot more flexibility in how your museum is managed, what items can be displayed, and where to display them. Features include but are not limited to:

  • Author-defined donation criteria
  • Unrestricted item pedestal placement
  • Custom item pedestal interactions
  • Custom lost books
  • Museum quests
  • Museum-related triggers, actions, and queries
  • Full multiplayer compatibility

Feel free to take a look at the documentation to view everything that Custom Museum Framework is capable of. You're not limited to mimicking the vanilla museum one-to-one here!

This mod allows you to easily create a mod list based on the mods SMAPI is currently running, turn it into nicely-formatted HTML, and get a link to share your list with your friends. You can read the full changelog, but here's the highlights:

  • The new website has MUCH faster response times.
  • Pick a color theme for your mod list for extra personalization!
  • You can now renew your shared mod lists so they expire later; use the link at the very bottom of your list.

This mod adds a menu you can open to display every audio cue in the game for you to listen to. It'll tell you how long an audio cue is, whether or not it loops, and even whether or not the audio is modded in any way! World Navigator is an in game navigation system that helps you get to locations, NPCs, quest dropboxes, and more. World Navigator's active guidance or written directions can help. Think of it like your phone's navigation app, but in Stardew and designed for Stardew.

World Navigator understands building open times, NPC schedules, and more. Mod authors can use World Navigator to add points of interest from their mods or help World Navigator understand the world better. If you're more into the aesthetics, you can also create new in game pointers that actively guide players.

Map modding tool by @shut root !

hello lovely people, i have made a tool

drop one or more .tmx files into this thing, optionally select which fixes you wanna apply, hit "Fix" and it'll repair your .tmx if its broken in the most common ways we see (tilesheet climbing, invalid gids, unnamed tiledata, etc)
once it's done, any maps that needed fixing will be zipped up and downloaded for you. the zip will also include a folder of backups of said maps that are completely unmodified, just in case bc i know writing "make backups" wont make people do it
it'll log all the fixes it makes as well as any warnings or errors for things that you might need to note (like if its unable to fix something (.tsx's arent supported, for instance) or it detected an error that you said you didnt want fixed but you should be made aware of)
this isnt intended to be in like every mapmaker's standard toolbox to rely on or anything but more so just as a quick fix if you cant be bothered to do it yourself or, more commonly i expect, giving to newbie modders with a broken map who dont know how to do the fixes themselves

ello! i little python tool for event scripting i made SDVpufferheart
its not a full-on program, so it won't do much of the work for you, since event scripting takes a lot of creativity. however, it will (hopefully!) make event scripting more easier to read and more user-friendly. SDVpuffersquee you'll have to use some functions i added in a section of the code then run it to get the script text. disclaimer: you do need understanding of event scripting - it's just a tool to make the process more convenient.
also, emphasis on simple. this tool was initially made for personal use, so it's more catered to which commands I use most often. it doesn't include the entire command list, but it does let you add custom commands that isn't specifically supported by this tool.

Happy Home Designer 2.4.0 is now released!

It contains several new features, most notably the new blueprint system! You can now purchase a Blueprint Book from Robin at any time for 5000g. Using this, you can save, load, and share interior decoration layouts with your friends! (As long as you are using the same furniture mods.)

Also new is integration for Custom NPC Portraits! Finally, a real button instead of a keybind. If CNPCP is installed, you'll see a new tab at the top of the menu that can open it. The catalogue menu also sports some new seasonal flair, which of course can be disabled through the config if it's not to your taste. Favorites now persist between worlds, including multiplayer. Your existing favorites will be imported from the first world you open the menu in.

It also contains fixes for some important bugs, like the infamous garden pot crash, as well as the new gmcm softlock bug.

Ladder Chance Framework (LCF) allows you to change the chance of a ladder based on various conditions using just Content Patcher.

Want to boost the chance of a ladder/shaft in Skull Cavern? Done. Want to make the player have to break every stone and kill every enemy on floors 30-40 of the Mines? You just might become my farmer's enemy, but that's easy to do. Want to double the chance of getting a ladder if you break a stone on floors 80-120 using a basic pickaxe? Yep! Increase the chance of a ladder from monsters killed by your mod's special weapon? No problem. Condition based on floor number, layout, tile location, GSQs on the player, the stone broken, the item being held, and more. LCF can do it.

Players may also be interested in the customizable multipack in optional files.

  • Add a set of spawns to multiple maps by separating names with commas, e.g. "MapName": "Forest, Mountain"
  • Use "prefix:", "suffix:", or "contains:" to target all maps with specific text in their names, e.g. "MapName": "prefix:your mod ID"
  • Spawn more forage in one place than another by listing it multiple times, e.g. "MapName": "Farm, Farm, BusStop"
  • (You can also use building names like "Deluxe Barn" to spawn a set in each of them, but that was already a feature)

Ladder Chance Framework has been updated to 1.1.0

This version introduces three new conditions: ConditionPolygon (passes when inside a polygon you define) ConditionNotPolygon (same but outside), and ConditionVanillaChanceBetween (passes if the current vanilla chance of a ladder is between two numbers.

This version also introduces an easy way to draw a polygon in game and let LCF handle the conversion to a string in the console. See the docs for details.

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to let people know that I finally finished my first NPC mod, and I'd be happy if people were interested in trying it out!
It adds Aurel, a (secret) mermaid who studies butterflies and moths, to the valley. Along with her, you'll also get some new flowers, bushes, and trees that butterflies and moths love in real life, with a few new recipes to go with them. Now you can also craft silk from silkworms 🙂

She's got a lot of dialogue and is SVE and East Scarp compatible, with some extra dialogue with other mods installed.

Ever wanted to make cute soaps? Now you can! I always thought the Oil Maker was criminally under-utilized, and thought a new artisan goods production line could breathe more life into it. Use the base game Oil Maker and Charcoal Kiln to press items into oil and turn Hardwood into Lye, and the new Soap Pot machine to turn these items into artisan soaps!

Emerald Acre is a cute and cozy farm map with some quality of life features, like a dedicated obelisk yard and a small hill to put buildings on, and ties a little bit of tool progression into how much of your farm is actually available. Gotta fuel my addiction to leveling skills. Also it is 100% compatible with the traveling skill. Here is a small overview!

- Hold (or toggle) Sprint with a keybinding. While sprinting, Energy will drain. Higher levels reduce the drain rate.
- Gain exp every few seconds while sprinting
- When you use a tool, you have a chance gain exp. Swinging a pickaxe every day in the mines will increase your fitness IRL and now in Stardew!
- Tool use exp gain is based off your athletics level vs the tool level. If you're a high level, swinging around a normal or copper hoe won't give as much gains as compared to iridium hoe.
- As you level up, learn how to craft Muscle Remedy, new cooking recipes, or totem doubling recipes. Okay that last one doesnt really fit with this skill theme but a friend asked if I could so I did.
- 6 new professions!

SDVpufferlurk Long time no maps! Here's my latest work, Sleepy Glade Farm, a Very Rare Small Map Release™ and yet another practice in MMAP-powered atmospheric effects from yours truly.

The farming space is small (limited to max of 2 Iridium Sprinklers) with non-diggable grass, so it's good for slower gameplay or a challenge map. Grass can still spread over grass tiles though, so ranching is possible! Other than the map having Forest forage and fish, I have no notes for this one. Featuring some very cool environment effects thanks to MMAP, of which minimum v.1.11.0 is required.

Pet Coats, lets you define custom coats for specific pets, either swapping specific colors, tinting the entire texture, or replacing the texture outright (this one swaps the bandana colors for neutral colors and tints the entire texture grey). Here's the Content Patcher code:
