giant caulis only appear when u have 3x3 together - have u been watering them by hand? it's rare that people aim for giant crops in early spring

people tend to just do cc plants/potatoes or kale in early spring, then transition to strawberries

it's also a 1% chance everyday btw

So I'm screwed, I caught the crimson fish and sold it, now that I'm further along I wanted to farm roes from it

potatoes are a recommended option for money (before strawberries), kale for experience

i won't stop you ofc haha but people do generally leave giant crops to late game because it's more for decorative purposes (and you don't get farming experience from harvesting giant crops)

for fish pond (tank is for decoration haha just in case), you could do sturgeon for caviar - not the best option but you do need 2 caviars
if you have access to floor 100, it's hard to hook it there but lava eel is fine (better than sturgeon)

the gap between legendary and non legendary fishes is unfortunately quite big (in terms of money they make)
