I usually sell my crops but keep like 5 to 10 for gifts or requests. For example, one of Pam favorite gift is Parsnips. So I keep 1 for her for her birthday.

But I keep shells I find. I think later on you can use then for craft if I remember correctly lol and its handy to slowly build up.
