Potatoes and cauliflowers are great for spring year one, but just for the future in year two potatoes will no longer be as profitable so only cauliflowers and strawberries. for Summer, It's usually blueberries, Corn, and for Fall it's Pumpkins, and cranberries, and in winter try your best to level up with npcs and try to unlock the greenhouse either via community center or joja mart membership

Remember to also level up your fishing as too many players ignore it early game because it's hard and they end up struggling in the later parts of the game
