@dire fractal get notepad++ its in the microsoft store for free, the icon is a chemelon on a note pad its soooo useful for .json files and making mods

@rare quest when updating SVE do I need to compeltely delete all the files and then extract the new one or overwrite is fine? Because if so, the Shed layering still messed up.
I updated and even tried to re-plant the tree to see if wasn't a problem with the tree before update.

Are your referring to the shed?
You'd need to edit the farm.tbin to remove the bushes.
Then use Reset Terrain Features to reflect the changes.

You'll need to grab all tilesheets and stick them in the folder the map files are in.
so it's definitely the upgraded kegs that's causing the issues. I've put down 5000+ normal kegs (in the desert, thank you FS), and have had no issues with lag.

That's an SVE issue if you have fences enabled

It isn't. People without SpaceCore have that issue sometimes too
Not seeing the custom/ized NPCs is a known issue, farmhands can't see the NPCs during events, they are not on the calendar for birthdays or on the map... I believe it is documented on the mod webpage as a known issue

FTM content packs are only needed by the host, so yeah, Better Quarry should be fine that way
(but packs that spawn monsters or other unusual stuff require all players to have FTM itself)

Does anyone use Wren's Expanded Greenhouse here?
Not yet? I haven't looked to see what it's done with my greenhouse since I loaded it. I was just wondering what some of these things in the config were before I started messing with it. Glass and frame are self explanatory. I'm guessing the 'expansion' part is the optional tree expansion area shown on the mod's example image?
Also not sure what 'IFR2 Compat' and 'Patch Mode: Load' means or of that's anything I need to worry about messing with.
Patch mode is for if you are using another greenhouse mod at the same time
IFR2 compat is for if you are using Immersive farm 2 remastered

The content patcher & other required mods are already in the SVE folder in my mods folder. So do i just pull them out and put them in the mods folder? (using Vortex)
Content PAtcher should br in Mods folder. I'm not sure if it will work if it's in any subfolder

I could try downloading the latest verson of it. I just don't want to cause a multiple copy error. But if it's not detecting it atm that means it's not seeing it in the SVE folder

Ugh. Does anyone know if there's a mod out there that can move trees and stuff? The greenhouse mod I just found makes it bigger, but now all my fruit trees are misplaced. And I really didn't want to lose them. They just started getting silver fruit.

They’ve been built as completely different machines so iirc they don’t even keep type prefixes e.g. strawberries turn into wine not strawberry wine

Installing a bath house mod for our farm, for some reason mac replaced the entire folder instead of just replacing the files

In regards to the disappearing map folder... that's the sort of thing that happens when you try to unpack files and cut them instead of copying them into the unpacking program.
Did you install SMAPI and run it, or are you running the original Stardew?

The folders should be left as-is, unless the instructions specifically say to take them apart

I think those errors should go away when all of SVE is loaded, but you need to install Platonymous.CustomMusic, spacechase0.CustomNPCFixes to activate it
yeah, that too. not sure where to find those files. nexus says eachauthor has one mod, and i have both installed. reinstalled both twice,so i guess i gotta go digging through the original download to make sure i'm actually extracting those particular files. and that they exist in the download

SMAPI isn't mentioning those mods or any unidentified folders, so I'm not sure where you'd have those installed? (They aren't included with SVE, as far as I know)

@keen rivet Have you updated Farm Type Manager to version 1.10.0? I posted it...about an hour ago, and it might help with that issue.
(Android uses a different "tracking" system for loot items)

I don't see any errors that would be related to the magnet mod, but it's possible that mod just silently freezes on Android. I haven't seen anyone else mention it.

my guess is its some underlying conflict with SVE and that due to SVEs loading it pushes the magnet one out of ram causing a softlock with it making it hang on that black screen

how do i install the sve warp locations?
I'm not familiar with the issue, but it looks like GoG Galaxy didn't correctly ID a multiplayer farmhand when they joined, and then NPC Map Locations couldn't figure out who/where they were
then is it ok to just remove the mod from my mods folder or do i have to take an additional step to clear it from the save?
I don't think NPC Map Locations edits save data, so if none of your mods require it, you can probably just remove it

can mods mess up the collections
my friend donated a dino egg to the museum but it's not showing in their collections tab
they got it from south of the forest, in the maze thing from the junimos
they're playing on a PC
they are using Stardew Valley Expanded
i remember getting some minerals without them appearing in collections while playing SVE. dunno what the problem is though
Some items spawned by mods don't trigger the usual "check whether you've collected this" code properly
I'm working on a fix for things FTM spawns, which will (probably) cover SVE's added stuff, but until then geodes & possibly other things will have issues
though to fix the issue in an existing save, you might just have to find it naturally*, I'm not really sure 
I don't know if you're supposed to be able to give gifts to Apples (SVE), but when I press F1 on him to see what he likes with Lookup Anything it gives an error as well, but everything else works fine.

So I wanna use pookachoo's seasonal greenhouse for SDVE, I checked first what was the difference between what was going to be overwritten. The base content.json file had slightly more code in it than the one needed to overwrite it, kinda skeptical to overwrite it now

Yeah, the Magic mod is totally unusable.
To cast a spell you need to press Q and the number at the same time

@rare quest I'd been having an issue with FHR and spouse rooms after I married Abigail with SVE installed. It wouldn't load my save. Here's my log: https://smapi.io/log/5a31b326d9ab4d6a8167f624c1cb1ed1 I finally pinpointed the problem to the SVE spouse rooms and had to remove them from the TMX folder in order to get my save to load. I'm not sure if it's something that can be fixed, but it might be something to look into.

If errors show up. If they don’t for the hair you need to figure out what could be causing it. Such a conflicting mods, modified xnb files, etc.
I just realized there was another file with Automate. Do I actually need the 'Enable path connectors' file? Since I seemed to be able to set up path connectors just fine without it. But maybe I'm missing something then?
disregard my question ... it isn't a content patcher issue cause the mod is working but for some reason the wizards name was changed back to the original ... so now i get the fun task of trying to find what i installed that over rode just him :/

@tawdry obsidian that file is if someone doesn't want to edit the config manually, it's already configured to enable crystal path and wood path I think as connector. The default config only enables Workbench I think as connector.

I dunno why furniture mods would break it...AFAIK, the information screens aren't manually typed out, they're just templates that access the game's database. Unless the furniture mods use unique IDs for the objects that the mod can't work with, but why would they break the whole mod?
