You can put chests next to things like tappers, crab pots, furnaces ect and they will auto collect the items and auto put the items in.

@pallid lance you don't have SVE map, if you installed SVE map and you still don't have it, you have another mod that is replacing the map and it's not compatible with SVE.
And by the color of your screenshot, that seems the case.

i think if you had stuff in the greenhouse already and you install any new greenhouse map everything gets lost to the void....you have to remove everything first

as a small note, aside from the modded npcs not appearing in events, there have been occasional crashes as well. not too common but it's a bit irksome when it does. had it happen twice today and we played about 5 hours or so

Does Wear More Rings work on Android mobile? Its library parent mod, StardewHacks, loaded fine, but when I added Wear More Rings, SMAPI went nuts and WMR didn't load. Not the end of the world but I was very charmed by the idea of wearing all my best bling at once.

I've had a couple issues I've been trying to figure out recently, and would appreciate any insight I can get from anyone who can help. I run SDV through Steam (usually with a lot of mods), and so I set SMAPI as the launcher for SDV through Steam, so that I can get achievements.
But as soon as I launch the game through SMAPI, I lose all sound in-game. I get no music, no footsteps, no tool sounds - nothing.

@tired brook well as soon as i took off the automate mod emily came in the morning then the bunnies starting producing wool. then i put it back the bunnies don't produce wool anymore.
was hoping for a non-game alternative because having to update basically every single mod + smapi has felt daunting

Automate has no effect on events or what animals produce, but if you have an auto-grabber connected to a chest, the wool will go into the chest so you won't see it in the auto-grabber.
I think custom furniture is broken, i cant put items on tables or anything

There's no Emily event that affects rabbits so far as I know, they always produce wool by default?

if its only not working when u have a 2nd child its most likely the mods fault rather than ur games fault
my friend downloaded the mod and put it in the folder, but when he made a new server, none of the mods are showing up

Yes and no. Since I'm married to Sophia, I don't think I can actually configure it in the config file

I'm having an issue with the beach generating forest forageables, it seems as if a mod is changing the tile data from the beach to the forest. Also I can't catch fish from the more fish mod at the beach either... but I am still getting Vanilla ocean fish. This started at the end of year 1 and I've tried countless hours to find the issue but can't. SMAPI logs are not even producing any error messages to pinpoint to where I should look.
When using SVE do I just dump all of the files in the (Stardew Valley Expanded) file into Content or should I take the files out of assets and put them in there? So far when playing I don't get any errors if I don't put any SVE files in content and I still get the new locations and NPC's but the map doesn't accurately reflect the new world and idk if anything else is messed up because of it
No mods go in Content.
Only game files go in Content, and you don't want to directly change those.
i think you need npc map locations (sve version) for the map to match
(Okay, technically some mods go in content, but 99.9% of them are severely broken and crash the game.)
and yeah you need the sve npc map locations
the map with sve npc map locations will always look as though you installed IF2R, but you don't actually need to install IF2R for SVE to work well.
@round laurel do you use minerva's harder cc bundles' ppja forage pack? i've been wondering myself what mod could cause that forage on the beach. i can't think of any other mod i have that might affect it other than more new fish
Yes! ive been using minerva's harder bundles the PPJA option! and now that the starfish cant spawn I cant complete the bundle :/
And i would like to keep more new fish due to mermaid island
and you need more new fish for ppja bundles anyway
i cheated some rare beach forage items myself because they just didn't seem to spawn enough

i think its weird that the harder bundles would be changing the beach though..

i thought the mod would only change the bundles.. this is a good pinpoint to find the issue, been searching for hours through all the mods! So the fix right now is to spawn the bundle items?
is the forage pack necessary for the mod to work? Maybe deleting it or editing the tiles could work
the folder should be called "[FTM] PPJA Forage Pack"
you can try removing that. i don't think it's needed for the main mod (could be marked as dependency, but easy to fix if so)

i rarely get the more fish at times from the beach though, just extremely rare, but the "lady fish" is a common fish and i havent gotten it after a while of testing
it started at the beginning of year 2 i believe, and the forage pack changes a few spawns on year 2, but its not connected with the fishing spots so... confused lol
hmm, maybe you could try joys of efficiency to see what the spawn rates of fish there look like

i am happy to say that the issues are actually gone! i tested using the joys of efficiency and the percentages seem... low for the new fish.. just luck not being kind in my testing. Removing the forageables file did fix the issue at the beach.

Using Gwen's Medieval Craftables and it doesn't seem to be replacing most things which it is suppose too. Anyone got any ideas? I am using quite a large array of mods too so could potentially be a compatibility issue but not sure.

So if I wanted to start using the automate mod, can I kiln > chest > furnace, with wood and ore in the chest, and it'll automatically feed wood into the kiln then coal back into the chest, then take the coal out to feed into the furnaces with the ore?

Lol. I just installed the Automate mod, woke up on the day, and didn't realize that if a chest is next to a machine, it'll automatically start processing stuff without me doing a setting. I had a chest filled with fairy roses next to my seed makers, and I thought I was seeing things, with my seed makers suddenly going and cranking out fairy rose seeds. Had to reset my entire day. Lol!
