i have a few tips

#1 watch a thorough tutorial on the program you're using. it helps A LOT, instead of spending time wondering what a feature does or how to do [this] or [that], sitting down and watching a long but helpful tutorial saves you a lot of time in the long run

#2 work with shortcuts!! things like ctrl + z or alt to select a colour save a ton of time. these keyboard shortcuts are different for each program and i guess it also depends on what tablet/mouse you're using, but theyre a lifesaver (this is kind of an add-on to the watch a tutorial tip ;; usually tutorials mention this) :]]

#3 flip your canvas- take the digital part of digital art to your advantage ^^ if you're not doing it already, it helps you spot asymmetry in your artwork or just things that look off, honestly a life changer

all in all, i think it all comes down to knowing your program's tools (clipping masks, blend modes, etc.) well and a lot of practice ^^
