So Aggie.io has a more substantial spinoff called Magma Studio, which actually performs better than Aggie.io so I'm not sure why they don't just make that their main product. You can "try" it for free but it's just a fully featured version, with the paid version being for if a company or some organization wants to implement it into their workflow.
It has in-browser pressure support which is cool.

so i did this too for a long time in my earlier art years; my lineart would be super sketchy. instead of loose, flowy lines, they were stiff strokes. it can look good in some art styles, but its really difficult to master. I would suggest to let your hand flow a little bit more and make longer strokes. put your wrist into it
but you're really good with facial expressions!!

Its also interesting, that the size of your sprite not only changes the amount of detail possible, but also how you design it. Breaking down something complex into 16bit or 32bit is a real challenge^^

I used a free software from the internet before just called pixelart. After some time i bought Aseprite and im happy with it.

The easiest way to start/learn more, was recolouring and redrawing existing stuff. At least for me.
And changing smaller stuff on them.
From there i try to do more original sprites now.

Where to start with pixelart. Do you already chose a program to use?
I started by redrawing and recolouring existing 16bit sprites.
From where i currently change stuff about them to get a feeling for making original stuff.
16bit is a lot about breaking down complicated details into simple stuff, because you have such a small space to work with.
I find 32bit easier sometimes, because you have more space to work with.

@boreal bobcat It's pretty simple: you just upload them into the Content/Maps folder under a name, then the game recognises them as just another tilesheet and any mod can target it (as long as they have dependencies). It's a great way to let others use your mod without having to upload the files with it. As for more furniture... hmmm.... I haven't got anything specific (except maybe a birdhouse) but as a map creator, I do get a little tired of using the same interior decorations for everything. So... more flowers, maybe a few different toys, and even just bookshelves or couches or tables that are of a slightly different design. Your work is gorgeous, btw!

i followed a guide, and used images as reference. it wasn't that hard, i just rolled with mistakes i ran into. this was originally gonna be a normal skull, but i went with a metallic look because i made it too shiny on accident

the mod is really slow rn but im so behind on my tasks
and lucky me, one of them is a pet i worked really hard on and will have to animate once i finish the base
everything ive made so far. theres the summon item (the “floral flute”), the buff icon, and then my progress on the pet itself which i called the Blossom Snake
