Drawing the hands themselves are one problem, but my main issue other than that is making the wrist look good.
I guess, looking at my own forearm, it narrows down but then starts to widen again about 2 inches before the palm starts.
It kind of seems like there's not really any noticeable transition from the forearm to the wrist to the hand, especially in simpler styles and when the wrist isn't bent.
"Wrist isn't bent" being the key term here; for some reason it hadn't occurred to me to look at how bending it affects the shape.
Bending up and down thickens it, while side to side instead makes certain bones more prominent.
Twisting it is interesting since the bone for that runs the entire length of the forearm and so is a more "spread out" and subtle change.
Well, typing it out certainly helped.

Well let not tell you all of the hard stuff like anatomy for the time being. You may want to get some photo of a real person ( art model if possible ), then try to to measure the body proportion like height. So you can actually see the height of each body parts. If you try to use your hand to cover the legs, it actually look quite alright, so you may want to pay attention to the length of the legs next time

The goal of the game is to convince this sect of humanity that life is worth living on a planet over a colony, so instead of building relationships with people you try to convince industries. So as you gain favour with engineering departments, you gain new technology (like hovercrafts for example), and can more easily convince engineering people to come join you on the planet
The abstract is that a group of humans left earth in search of somewhere devoid of corruption and greed, but after generations of living on a space-faring colony and never finding the perfect planet, humans became complacent and comfortable living on ship.
And it's your job to break the mould and convince everyone that life is worth living on planet 🙂

It has a ton of different turns that your game can take depending on the decisions you make, and you also have a robot that's by your side the entire time and makes things a little less lonely. Your robot learns what it's like to be human based on the decisions you make.

It's difficult to say. I'd say functionality wise, probably about 65-75%, and then graphics/zone probably about 50-60%

You have endurance (like sdv), but also battery (which recharges daily) and things like biofuel which comes from natural things found in the world
we don't really have so much use for wood for building as everything is made of metal, but there are some reallllly cool things I have planned.. like the option of building tree forts in these giant pink trees haha

We are planning on making jetpacks yeah - so jetpacks are one of the tiered items:
Tier 1: slight boost, slowly descend
Tier 2: Allows you to be able to indefinitely go straight (cross mountains)
Tier 3: Allows you to vertical
So this allows us to access different things at different parts of the game.
The vehicles currently planned are hoverboard (like a hovercraft skateboard that slides across any climate without touching) and Dunebuggy (we might also do a light version of flying vehicles as well because the player ship is pretty big) @mossy leaf

ooo I just had a cool idea what if there were massive Ravines that is around the world that you cannot cross in the early game but once you get a tier 2 or tier 3 jetpack you're able to cross the massive ravines

for my event entry
my character is holding a basket with items
and like
i have two wine bottles
in the basket she has a melon, red cabbage, amaranth, cheese (wrapped in a checkered paper, prolly red and white),
so based on those colors [light pink, purple/red, violet, red & white,] what wine should i pick?
cuz like peach wine is... peach colored, apple wine is light yellow, starfruit wine is lemon yellow, pomagranate is deep red, strawberry is light pink., orane is pastel orange

i'm no art student nor will i claim to actually fully understand color theory but regardless of what wine you pick, the wine will always adapt to the tint of its container and what surrounds it. your colors sound very red and warm so your wine will have those colors bleed onto it somehow. depending on what you have in mind for the selection, making it a completely different color like starfruit's yellow-gold or orange's pastel orange would make it kinda pop out a bit more but you have to keep in mind the opacity of the drinks plus your lightsource and intensity too ( IF you're going full painterly style w/ semi/full-realism. just remember to separate it fr the cheese so it's not yellows next to each other). but if you don't want the wine popping out, you have the other options (the shades of red).
that's just my uninformed opinion tho

i think a gold/orange might look good with the colors u listed though, but it also depends on the overall color use in the whole image

and by a wip i mean the actual image we can look at, since shades of color can vary a lot
ye, thats why i said it depends on the overall image as well, like if u are using a specific palette of colors, you probably don't want to pick one that isnt related to the rest of them
i.e if the rest of your image is full of similar pink/red/purples, adding a couple objects that are gold/orange would look nice and add some accents. but if you arent working with a specific palette for the whole image then its more open
