the question is that Sashi (that's the name they gave them in the Pelican town after becoming a zombie) came to Pelican town being human but he was infected.
due to his condition they was not very friendly
little by little they began to lose consciousness
until they finally relented and disappeared for a time from the village in the forest
the farmhouse was abandoned again and the villagers thought that they had left the town without a trace

i feel like most of the art ive seen of yours your characters tend to all have the same skin color/hairstyle, so maybe go with something wildly different from what you usually do?
i cant really help with furry characters though
like if he has lsd vibes maybe design him with 70's influences or with more color in his overall appearance, maybe some kind of wacky neon dyed streak in his hair, something like that
then again i also havent really seen much of your art cuz im new here, so i guess itd be helpful if you can show us your current oc's and what about this design thats making you feel like it looks the same as other ocs?
personally i also try to vary my oc's by giving them different nationalities/facial structures but that's harder to do with heavily stylized art like yours

hey guys can i get some input on something i'm writing? i'm having a bit of trouble

alright so a week passes between the last chapter i wrote and the one i'm writing, and that week basically they're preparing for stuff. however, something does happen during that week that i want to show for the next chapter, but i'm unsure of what to do
i'm worried that if i post a chapter about the week they prepare stuff, it'll be too boring and uneventful
but at the same time, quite a bit happens too, so it feels weird if i skip it
at first i had this part written out as a montage at the end of the last chapter, but i ended up expanding on it and not including it
so now this part is kind of in a limbo in which i feel like it's not getting justice by being a few paragraphs, but it might be too boring if it's a chapter all on its own
lays down maybe i could condense most of it, but then make a chapter out of one of the more content-heavy things
ok getting to type it out helped some. the basic gist of it is
chapter 59 = they decide they need to do prepare for this journey
writing limbo: they prepare, and one of them is clearly bothered by something that happened off-screen (is that a phrase i can use in writing)
chapter 60 = the off-screen thing unfurls at last right before they're ready for journey

like, they havev a bit of banter, and then they go on a date where they fight monsters. but it's nothing really that... intense? i guess? like it's just a part of it. and they're upgrading tools and gathering materials and stuff
but at the same time i'm like, does the reader really need to or want to know this even tho it's cute
but getting to actually lay down and talk about it, what i THINK i'll do is that i'll just condense the preparation stuff, have the off-screen stuff happen and they're starting to deal with the aftermath since i do have to get them to meet sandy and i hadn't fit that in yet, which might make for a more interesting chapter
sorry i know all this is like... just word vomit, and a bit vague since it's about my story

it's important to know your feelings as a reader!

you can always include what happens during that week as flashback snips.
so you don't have to write out the whole week just a: While in current time they are doing this. Triggers memory of this a week prior. Comes up in current convo and is somehow relevant. moves on with current plot
0r if you want, start them off daydreaming back to the event of interest then snap them forward with some sort of interruption. that way you'd not have to have past event involve any of the current action unless you wanted it too
something like:
chapter 59 = they decide they need to do prepare for this journey
chapter 60 = starts off with one of them thinking back to of clearly been bothered by something happened in time jump, which leads to the build up of the off-screen thing unfurls at last right before they're ready for journey

Sometimes in books where in chapters loads is constantly happening, I personally find it really nice to have a few cool-down chapters where the characters just get chance to chill and banter and just kinda do normal stuff, you know? If that makes any sense I hope

^ this is also true. though it sounds like you're just setting up and getting the story started. so might not be a good point to have a relaxing chapter if you're trying to get the story rolling. What will matter is your climax of the story. if the trip itself is the climax then a few extra chapters fluffing the getting there wouldn't hurt. if the climax is something that the trip is more of "a place where this happens at, but it could as easily happened back at home with time" than probably can skip the travel fluff and focus more on building the situation that causes the story climax.
given the info you provided, i'd say it'd be very easy to have one of them pondering the events of the previous preparation week, and then wondering 'oh wait...does that count as a date?' type revelation right before getting interrupted by something to drive the plot in current time forward. like the other one coming in and declaring if they don't hurry up they are leaving without them.

and the other side was everyone else. the main faction in the story lived in the desert as nomads in huge convoys . it was essentially the military branch of the desert nation
its all pretty like, not concrete casue i didnt get to develop it much but,

but one detail was that they developed hovercraft technology before flight so everythings hovercraft
i think iim attached to this story cause i came up with it during a peak in my inspiration and motivation for art in general and i got reallly enveloped in it. i miss that kinda feeling

I have the Huion kamvas pro 16 and the endless amount of issues it has for a almost $900 tablet is insane, no support on it, customer service is literally shit, It’s an absolute nightmare. I can barely draw on it without the pen constantly not working and then the tablet just being unresponsive in itself no matter how many things we’ve tried, most of the time customer service just doesn’t respond. I only hope that the kamvas 13 doesn’t have those issues
