i don't know of any place that walks you step by step, but i use this site https://line-of-action.com/ sometimes to work on studies! croiquis cafe on youtube is also good, but they have models of a particular body type and don't really deviate from it.

most figure drawing resources have nude people tho so be wary if thats not smth ur comfortable with

what kind of medium are you planning on using tho? cause if its just regular 2b pencil thats fine u can just go from there, but if you wanna learn the other types of pencils then you should avoid the really soft ones at higher numbers

mature might deal with very heavy topics and go through some stuff but generally it isn't in detail and it more often than not is not super nsfw or super violent

teen is more catch-all, general use but might get into some topics but it's not a focus
gen/general is just pretty inoffensive and doesn't go into these things at all unless it's like fluff

The next scene is Shane realizing that the farmer is ill and helps take care of them and the farm.

I'm not sure if the beginning and the end will connect so smoothly.

I have an aminoapp friend who needs help with critisism right here:

The bridge of the nose is straight when the face is slightly tilted
The shoulders are not the same width, unless they are meant to be turned in torso position
Hair would not flow that way when hitting their left our right shoulder, it would flow more outwards than inwards unless a wind was blowing on it, which I doubt judging by the other strands
The pink against pink is a bit jarring, I would suggest a pastel blue or a very dull pink instead for the bg, but that's probably my own bias. Anyone else on this one?
Also shading would be on the opposite side of her face judging by the eye gleam.

Oh also there is so much empty space it hurts, but unless that's what they're going for, I would suggest a sort of shadowing design for the bg to at least draw more attention to it

Blaz is half Bremian (Thing Satyr but wolf instead of goat). This manifests below the waist, meaning he has a canid bottom half+tail. Unlike full Bremians he lacks the secondary ears, and thus cannot actually communicate in Bremian language

Judging by the cuff sizes, I don't think his hand would be that small, especially since there seems to be more spare space in the cuff of the left hand than the right hand, where its tighter around the wrist. Also, his shoulder wouldn't be that long even with the back turned, I don't think. I can redline real quick if that'd be okay?

It's actually not bigger, it's just thicker due to my style soz, but it wouldn't become that much smaller because either he's throwing it all the way over there (in which the arm should be more stretched out instead of just bent at what looks like maybe a 100 degree angle?) and/or the right hand would be towards the viewer (and not bent at an angle at his side)

You can alter the size to make it fit better tho because I know our styles are vastly different XD

It depends on the cut of the suit that you're going for tbh. Italian cut will be more fitted whereas American cut will be looser.

British is like a cool in between.

I'm used to Italian cut myself, but idk which one you'd go for. Because the one that'd be loosest is American, so it would have that much bagginess. British would be curved (not fitted) at the waist but loose in the chest.

That suit looks like a dinner suit in the example, but the ones in the spring dance look more like Summer suits which are styled thinner in order to keep the wearer cool.

I would probably guess English/British cut? Since it's right in the middle and it's easier to draw.

Tailcoats there's only two kinds that are prevalent in modern day

Dress coat, which has a square cut, and morning coat, which is the pointy version

The cuts themselves don't actually apply to the versions of tailcoats: they'll be different as in a variety of styles.

Thrift store art is hardly ever originals, they’re either prints or mass produced stuff

Think of it as a creative repurposing

You should also be wary of the language used here. This vid immediately has you against the artist by saying ‘ruins’. Did she ruin it, or did she repurpose it or otherwise give it anew life?

There’s a difference, and the language in the video right now is designed to clickbait and put you in an outrage state

I don't see it as a bad thing if it's a reprint or a copy. I can understand why some people think it's bad, especially with how digital art is perceived (where tracing over a pose is a heavy grey area unless it's from a photograph for some reason). Traditional artwork is vastly different in terms of how it can be approached, and this is just one form of it.

Make the outline of the skin a darker more purpleish color

right now youre getting lost in the shading instead of havin strong contrast like in the game darker pixel in areas that would have more depth would bring out the details more without as many pixels involved

it's always pretty hard for us to decide winners

everyone has pretty great art

it's partly why we try to use such a nonbiased system, we use a lot of math

and just points based on stuff in the art and not necessarily skill involved, skill can influence but we've had some gorgeous art place lower while less gorgeous but still very creative art places higher
