i mean thats just kind of redundant because learning all of that stuff will improve your art in general, not just guns. people have more variables, but people are also much more recognizable in different forms. whether it be chibi, a stick figure, a highly detailed and properly anatomy'd person, or an anime girl, you can always tell when someone is drawing a person. if you dont get the necessary details on guns, it can jsut end up looking like a bunch of blocks

the forms in that are simplified into ones that will be very familiar and easy for you to replicate if you've worked through for example scott robertson's how to draw

of course blacky has a LOT of mileage under his belt

ok so! What I've been planning so far is
my farmer is something of a deity/protector of the sea! She washed up on the beach after losing her memories, and was found by Willy and Elliott.
She stayed with Willy until Lewis figured out what to do - they ended up deciding to let her stay at the farm, and help her with the whole 'farming' part.
She spends a lot of time by the sea, and noticed Elliott does the same, and developed a crush on him, but is way too shy to even be seen so she...observes from afar. She likes to listen to his piano at night.

He suddenly charged and swung his greatsword with the power of 1000 suns. I dodged it, like the nimble assassin that I am. I kept running back and forth, dodging his attacks. He was laughing a high pitched, non-stop laugh, as if he was actually enjoying this. He swung his greatsword again, but this time, he used so much raw power, that his greatsword got stuck in the cobblestone. I saw the chance, and I took it. I ran onto his sword; I managed to get just over half way, but the gigantic ogre hit me off with his other free hand. As I was laying on the ground, winded, the ogre tried to take one last swing of victory. He ripped his greatsword out of the ground, covering me in dust. He was just about to annihilate me, but I managed to summon the last of my strength to take my dagger out of its sheath. I threw it towards the ogre, and it hit him right in his neck. He collapsed to the ground, along with his sword.

re: jef and the paragraph, i think it's a good start! i would describe the ogre a little more in the beginning though because i didn't even understand that this was a large ogre creature until it was outright stated in the second half of the paragraph. i think describing its size and maybe how it held the sword for the assassin to climb onto it would be cool details
i get you want to introduce the ogre, so you don't have to say he's an ogre right away, but physical descriptors will help
also, "i dodged it, like the nimble assassin that i am" is a fitting line if you're establishing the personality of the person narrating. it makes them sound a bit egotistical. if you want to nail that kind of personality, i'd put more into the paragraph. if you didn't mean to do this, like if he has a different kind of personality, removing "like the nimble assassin that i am" and maybe trying to add in the assassin thing somewhere else would be good. liiike... "I dodged his attack in a flash-- my assassin's training paid off for me" or something like that
action imo is one of the hardest things to write about, but you did good. fitting more into a sentence makes the actions "faster" while short sentences make the actions "slow down" if you want to play with that more too

@pastel iris that looks gorgeous!! i think it's the white section of counter+the gray one that might be throwing you off? the white section kind of gave me pause for a second before i realized it was supposed to go up that far, because the vanilla cabinet extends all the way to the left iirc. and the gray section looks kind of unintentional the way it is right now? esp over the stove and sink
i think the white part looks fine but i can't really tell how the gray part is supposed to work, so maybe differentiating it a bit more or not extending it over the stove and sink would help!

yeah i love that! maybe i'll keep a similar layout to the original and have a workbench type of thing with a boombox on it, plus the tool rack and maybe a bit of a convertible visible if i can make it look good
