I won't lie, their standards are high. Very high. Even with my honor-roll background, clean slate of a record, and advanced placement with one year's worth of medical school, I'm still required to take a College Board exam as my entrance exam and score a 50/80 on it in either French or German.

Whereas in America, you basically apply and get accepted, ngl, depending on the school. (I'm not saying Harvard or Yale does this, but most community colleges will)

Alternative education is hella good. I'd probably only recommend going to university if a.) you can afford it, b.) you wanna do it for fun (like me), or c.) you need connections. It's great for connections, especially if you aren't the outgoing type.

I'm a gamedev myself and usually we loooove a reference to our stuff in different games. As long as it's clear enough and just a reference, not stealing a more elaborate idea. Putting a name in the credits is usually a good way to go. @dire phoenix

tbh I got my style from tracing and then using my traced version as a reference. If you wanna work on a certain part of anything you could use that method- that is if you are not all crazy about tracing for practice.

practice but also by trying it on pencil first before I re-draw it on paint cause it will help me to know how I should go with the mouse better, I used to only draw for 1-3 minutes haha ~~which only drawing blob of face/animal mostly~~.. now I spent until 30 minutes.. and mostly because my mouse is not cooperating well.. or my lines too weird since I cannot make anything symmetrical to begin with..
