i think in general it's good to not use straight black lineart, but n the end it doesn't matter that much if it's not something that you care about

for me i usually either do

• a very dark version of the palette i have, i.e. if most of my image is warm colors, i will have a very very dark red as my lineart
• darker color of each color that's touchin the lineart

using black can make something pop though as said too

The fact everything I do happens by accident is infuriating. Even trying to copy tutorials looks off.

Maybe I'm just thinking about how I draw incorrectly

this may sound like a cliche, but just let your art flow

For me it's just I can't see under it and can't precisely tell where the cursor is so my lines don't connect. I'm very anal about that I guess. Depending on the make, some of those are really smooth but yeah I know what you mean. Others almost feel like they're sticking to the screen.

Huion has a range of tablets

generally, anything under a certain size is Graphics Tablet, with no screen.

For example, the tablet I have, the Q11K v2, is only for drawing onto a computer, whereas the Huion Kamvas has it's own screen, runs separately from the computer, and has it's own internal harddrive

although, the prices of a Huion Screen Tablet are high
