Here’s a really fast doodle I did. My process usually involves sketching out the structure of the body that I wnat and then crazily sketching it in and just reworking the sketches until I feel I have a good outline. Then I go in with an inking pen on another layer and do the outline that you saw in my wip

Depend on what kind of style you want as well , if you want painting feeling or realistic best do painting or remove the lineart after you finish the shading and detail
if more cartoon or anime like than you can keep the line depend , usually no line work better for bg if you plan to do full illustration
