His left bicep/elbow area is a lil off imo, like the curve is too sharp, tho that's a v easy fix, just round it out a lil more, and thighs are ggggenerally longer than the calves (bodies are weird so it varies)

The thing abt firbolgs specifically is that bc of critical role, ppl have taken a lot of liberties and made them more cow like, in the Canon raw descriptions, the nose is just bigger and red but not as animalistic

It might help to try paying attention to lineweight, in sketches like this the darker areas will draw the eye immediately since there's not any shading or such - so in this piece, that happens to be the nose and mouth area since you've used pretty thick lines there

I don't think you need to think too hard on it but it'll be good to keep in mind

You could try drawing really lightly, whether you use a lighter pencil (like moving up the H scale) or just draw lighter, then once you're happy with the base you can go over it with a darker one

As with everything, practice is key

You can also think of what lines you think should be darker, lineweight is pretty advanced and very very varied

hey so i tried fixing the front person's head so it's a profile instead and now my eyes are telling me the person in the front's whole body looks weird? it doesnt look like it's the back of their body but the front. is that just me? i think it's due to the head position but im not sure. i still want to have the person's expression to be visible which is why i drew it like this instead of the back of their head but now it just looks weird. and i tried to fix the arm/hand so it''s a lil better but the hand feels a lil short and stubby? TLDR basically i dont know how to draw bodies/hands in this angle and i need desperate help lmao.

creative is for posting your art, you're free to comment there but creative discussion is more about talking what you're doing and whatnot
