It's a tad hard for me to see the lines (guessing cos the paper doesn't look totally white and the lines are delightfully thin? though I prefer that color background to white, ironically), but it looks good. Nicely detailed.

@mighty bronze you don't need to merge layers just select all of them, use the wand tool on the outside, make a new layer and fill in the dotted outline

I'm guessing you might want to focus on the personality that you find most interesting

I'd like to see more of Kohaku, mostly because Ayako already has a very defining trait in her looks, whereas Kohaku looks more "normal", so it leads me to think the personality is where her charm's at, for the most part.

If you make it 3x3 or 4x4 you'll have more leeway to alter the shape, but you have to decide if it's too big or small from what you want to do.

It doesnt specifically talk about circles but it's the same principle, repetitive practice will improve your line accuracy (muscle memory). What personally helps me is moving my entire arm while drawing circles and not just my wrist

it's a cool design! for me i think of very pastel, soft/bright colors when i think of something sweet like candy
